Physical Facilities
Agra is a commissionary Head Quarter of the State of Uttarpradesh. Agra is famous because of Taj Mahal (Seventh wonder of the world). It is well connected by Air, Trains and National Highway No.-2 & 3. The college is located in a campus of 50,000 sq. feet area with a modem building having a basement, ground floor, 1st floors, second floor. Adjacent to the college building is the modern hospital with 100 beds of all specialties including maternity. The whole campus is surrounded by lush greenery and seasonal flowers. The college is having 4 lecture theaters with all modem A.V. aids, a library with more than 500 books on different subjects alongwith adequate physical space and the requisite modern new furniture. In addition to that the library has general books as well as periodicals and journals of Nursing Science.
The college has following laboratories for the teaching and training of the Nursing students. + Fundamental of Nursing Lab. + Anatomy and Physiology lab. -4- Community Nursing Lab. + Nutrition Lab. + Microbiology and Pathology Lab. + Maternity and Child Health Lab. + Computer Lab with Internet and email facilities for all students.
The college is having an auditorium and conference hall with all modem facilities for the nursing students.

Field Practical Training
Training at the rural and urban field health centres attached to S.N. Medical College, Agra would be given as per I.N.C recommendations.
Scientific Activities
The attached Dr. Kamlesh Tandon Hospital is having facilities for conduction of scientific seminars, workshops on topics related to Health. The Hospital is also having facilities of video conferencing (operation theatre connected to conference hall video conferencing system). Nursing students shall be exposed to this system of teaching and training on laparoscopic, endoscopic and other operations.
Library Facility
College of Nursing has got ample stock of quality books of various discipline in Nursing alongwith adequate physical space and the requisite modern new furniture.
In addition to that College has also managed to have general books as well as periodical and journals of Nursing Science. |
